Vertical photovoltaics is considered one of the most exciting future concepts for energy and agriculture. The basic idea: solar modules are mounted vertically and can utilise sunlight from both sides thanks to bifacial technology. For current projects by the company Next2Sun, around 2,800 crossbars and 700 specially developed premium posts were piece-galvanised with duroZINQ and subsequently powder-coated at the ZINQ Castrop-Rauxel site – including fine plaster for a uniform surface finish.
