ZIB (Zinc Information Benelux) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting hot-dip galvanised steel as the most effective and sustainable form of corrosion protection for steel.

To achieve this, proactive marketing and communication activities are encouraged, and knowledge transfer and exchange between members and all key stakeholders such as architects, steel constructors, etc. are driven forward.

Furthermore, it is about actively keeping an eye on relevant legislation, as well as relevant standards and specifications, not least through intensive contact with key decision-makers.

Representing the interests of members at the European General Galvanizers Association (EGGA) is another core objective of the organisation.

How do we get involved there?

ZINQ has been a member from the outset and is involved on the board and in the Marketing and Technology & Environment working groups of the organisation.
