What does the network do?

The Federal Association for Sustainable Business (BNW) is an independent business association where companies have been committed to environmental, climate, and social sustainability since 1992. With over 700 member companies, the association represents the voice of the sustainable economy to politics and the public and advocates across industries for the transformation towards a circular and future-proof economy.

As a founding member of Ecopreneur.eu, the BNW also contributes to the development of sustainable economic frameworks at a European level.

How do we get involved?

By joining the BNW, ZINQ expands its commitment to the circular economy and actively contributes its practical experience from the "Planet ZINQ" business model to the network. The aim is to make sustainable products competitive together with other companies and to drive forward the development of leading circular markets.

ZINQ was awarded the German Environmental Prize 2025 for its holistic approach to transforming the energy- and resource-intensive industry. Furthermore, the company is already involved in other initiatives such as Klimaschutz-Unternehmen (Climate Protection Companies) and the Circular Performer (CIRPEL) network. With this, ZINQ underscores its ambition to take responsibility beyond its own company.
