As an umbrella organisation for association and company memberships, the ZVO has been committed to the activities of the surface finishing industry in the field of public relations and its professional communication for over 15 years.

Furthermore, under expert direction, the ZVO bundles important tasks in the areas of technology, environment and chemical policy. Under the name „World of Surface,“ the ZVO's diverse trade fair and exhibition activities have now established themselves as a brand.

Furthermore, ZVO Service GmbH completes the organisation of the Central Surface Technology Association e. V. and its affiliated members. Their task is the economic execution of seminars and conferences, accompanying technical exhibitions and joint trade fair stands.

How do we get involved there?

The broad base for cooperation arising from the above actively supports ZINQ – ZINQ has been a member of the ZVO since 1 April 2015.

ZINQ stands not only for optimal corrosion protection through batch galvanising of steel, but also for innovation and sustainability in production and processes. Under the Planet ZINQ® initiative, ZINQ is developing new, resource-efficient surfaces with reduced zinc usage but the same protective effect, and is optimising processes according to the Cradle to Cradle® standard to utilise the recycling potential of ZINQ products and avoid waste.

This is precisely the kind of topics we want to introduce to the ZVO, as well as our best practice examples. In parallel, we want to inspire and be inspired in order to utilise the possibilities of the material zinc in the area of piece galvanising.
