More and more customers are demanding a durable surface that consumes fewer resources and at the same time offers intelligent solutions for further processing, such as joining, bonding and cold forming.

As a binary alloy technology, microZINQ is based on the use of an aluminium-containing zinc alloy that achieves a uniform surface with defined functional and aesthetic properties. Due to the higher passivity of the surface, microZINQ is particularly suitable for increased microclimatic requirements.

  • Corrosion protection: Hot-dip galvanising to DIN 50997/DIN EN ISO 14713 in premium quality, maximum cost-effectiveness due to long service life, highest mechanical load-bearing capacity during assembly and use

  • Resource efficiency: Reduced use of zinc thanks to optimised alloys and improved zinc bath management as well as the use of energy-efficient plant and process technology as part of the low-carbon ZINQ programme
  • Resource efficiency: environmentally friendly and innovative surfaces and processes are Cradle to Cradle Certified®* and backed by circular Product Carbon Data Sheets (PCDS) according to ISO 59040
  • Material health: Use of materials and raw materials of circular quality and free from microplastics, PFAS, PFOS – safe for people and the environment. Cradle to Cradle Certified® according to Material Health Standard* and in accordance with Health Product Declaration® (HPD) Standard
  • Product Compliance Assessment (PCA) microZINQ-coated steel parts have been assessed as part of the EPEA Product Compliance Assessment (ProCa). The assessment indicates how the product is rated in leading sustainability rating systems (DGNB, BNB, QNG, BREEAM, EU-Tax, LEED).
  • Quality: Execution according to certified integrated ZMS (ZINQ Management System according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, ISO 45001 and in accordance with DASt 022) in state-of-the-art plants with continuous process control
