Project

For the customer HIB Huber Integral Bau GmbH and its multi-storey car park project in Dortmund, around 500 structural steel components were to be hot-dip galvanised for corrosion protection – whilst remaining identifiable and traceable throughout the entire process chain.

Realisation

The solution was provided by ZINQ tags. These are specially coated steel sheets that are labelled using a laser printer and remain completely unaffected even by immersion in a zinc bath heated to over 450 °C, meaning that all information can continue to be read along the entire value chain.
