Project
Finishing of stair railings and window frames with duroZINQ, the world's first surface corrosion protection system to hold a Cradle to Cradle certificate.
Circular value creation down to the very last detail – construction of the world's first Cradle to Cradle (C2C) town hall in Venlo. The vision: to design a building that will one day become a raw material for future generations – true to the motto „dismantling“ instead of „demolition“ and „raw material“ instead of „builder's rubble“. The Dutch company Vahsen Constructies commissioned ZINQ to coat various window frames and railings with the C2C-certified surface finish duroZINQ.
Realisation
For this project, the depotmobil all-round delivery and collection service was used so that the customer could continue to focus on their core business. The materials were finished with duroZINQ at the Alsdorf site, and the new town hall was opened in 2016. Shortly after its opening, the town hall was already considered a flagship project for the circular economy. As a result, large crowds of visitors flock to Venlo Town Hall every year to get an impression of the Cradle to Cradle® concept.
