ZINQ Lyon is proud to have contributed to the realisation of „Cryptide“, a monumental work by the artist Charlotte Charbonnel, installed on the art trail „Les Balcons de l'Abbaye“ in Savigny on the initiative of the community of communes „Pays de L'Arbresle“ (CCPA) as part of the event „Les Murmures du temps“.

As part of the „Les Murmures du temps“ art and culture trail, this sculpture, which stands over 5 metres tall and is designed as a fossilised creature emerging from the past, was galvanized with duroZINQ by our teams at the ZINQ Lyon site to ensure its longevity and weather resistance.

Bridging art and science, „Cryptide“ combines the world of minerals, the geological memory of the site and industrial know-how. A successful fusion of contemporary artistic creation and sustainable steel protection.
