Project
On the coast, corrosion presents a constant challenge. For this pedestrian bridge built for DL AQUITAINE, the ZINQ Landes teams used the „duroZINQ“ solution, a hot-dip galvanising process suitable for marine climates.
The aim is to significantly extend the structure's lifespan and ensure its performance in the long term. This durability also has a tangible impact on the environment: less maintenance, fewer replacement measures, lower resource consumption.
The galvanisation is Cradle to Cradle Certified®*, thus demonstrating a structured approach to the circular economy and the responsible use of resources.
This pedestrian bridge in Capbreton shows that technical capability and the circular economy can go hand in hand. Huge praise to the ZINQ Landes teams for this achievement in a marine environment.
