Compelling results for micro-galvanised solar profiles

As part of an out-of-service test in Trins (Austria), solar profiles with a high-aluminium microZINQ surface are being installed in December 2015. After 18 months, the profiles are visually glossy, with neither signs of weathering nor rust recognisable, and overall a very good resistance through passive properties of the surface can be observed. Almost another 6 years later, the micro-galvanised surfaces are to undergo inspection once again.

 

Realisation

In spring 2023, the positive findings were confirmed, and the coating thickness measurements also show that virtually no zinc loss has been detectable since December 2015, when the outplacement test started.
