Surface finishing of an art object with dimensions of 1.9 metres in length x 2 metres in width x 1.8 metres for the Westend Campus, northwest of downtown Frankfurt am Main.
The sculpture has a naturally intended warp. The open construction and the thin sheet metal required the utmost care during galvanising. Due to the special nature of the artwork, it was hot-dip galvanised in a single immersion – which also ensured the best possible surface appearance.
