Individual aesthetics combined with sustainably effective corrosion protection for 69 boats, which were to be planted and exhibited as part of BUGA 2019 in Heilbronn – the solution was colorZINQ.
ZINQ also took care of transporting the finished boats to the exhibition venue.

Realisation

The first of the three boat types, ranging from small (length: 1.5 m, weight: 98 kg) to medium (length: 3 m, weight: 182 kg) and large (length: 6 m, weight: 596 kg), were immersed in the molten zinc bath at the Bruchsal site in mid-March 2019. After being pulled out of the zinc bath and the subsequent cooling down, the boats were prepared accordingly in the new blast booth at the Bruchsal site, then primed and additionally coated in the blue-grey (RAL 7031) fine-structure matt colour.
