For the new training year, ZINQ is strengthening its team at various locations in Germany. A total of 23 young people are starting their training – 20 of them in the industrial sector. Of the three commercial trainees, two already started in August, while one commercial trainee begins their training on 1 September.
From Gelsenkirchen, Duisburg, Alsdorf and Castrop via Heldrungen, Leipzig, Lausitz, Frankfurt (Oder) and Dresden all the way to Bruchsal, COATINQ Bruchsal and Beilstein: the new intake is represented at ZINQ locations across Germany.
Apprenticeships at ZINQ involve more than just technical qualifications. Apprentices receive individual guidance throughout their training and are regularly supported in their development. This includes discussions on their personal and professional prospects, training sessions in areas such as communication, and the opportunity to share insights into training at ZINQ with schools and companies as training ambassadors.
„I am very pleased to be able to welcome new apprentices to our company again this year and to accompany them on their career path at ZINQ,“ says Christina Geldmacher, Team Lead for Mach Dein ZINQ. „Mach Dein ZINQ builds on new young talent and offers them diverse prospects through individual support projects and great opportunities for development. I am very excited to see which path they will take with us.“
The fact that development at ZINQ goes beyond vocational training is also demonstrated by the cross-location trainee programme, which was launched for the first time this year. Ten employees from various professional backgrounds, including trade apprentices, dual-study students and administrative specialists, are taking part. The aim is to systematically prepare talent for future specialist and management roles and to give them insights into various departments and the corporate direction of ZINQ.
With the new training year, ZINQ is focusing on the targeted development of young talent. As part of „Mach Dein ZINQ“, trainees can further develop their skills, take on responsibility and shape their path at ZINQ beyond their apprenticeship.
