ZINQ tags: The key to effortless component identification and seamless traceability

@ZINQ
Project
Schwevers Stahlhochbau GmbH & Co. KG was looking for a robust, process-reliable marking system for its individual components that would clearly identify and digitally trace components throughout the entire value chain - from cutting and external galvanising to delivery. At the same time, the solution needed to be internally scalable and integrated into goods flow processes without media disruptions. The decision was made in favour of ZINQ tag markings. The tags are attached directly to the component and contain all relevant information in plain text and as a barcode and/or QR code. Instead of outsourcing the labelling, Schwevers opted for in-house printing: blank tags are automatically labelled in-house using a laser and transferred directly to the material flow.
"The ZINQ tags are small, handy and offer real added value thanks to customised QR and barcode options: we can quickly assign components, record them digitally and process them smoothly. We also use them for internal control of the flow of goods - this ensures clear processes and greater transparency."
