Project

Fielenbach Fördertechnik GmbH is focusing on sustainable solutions in the development of an innovative conveyor belt system designed to optimise the transport of trimming waste in a paper mill. In addition to the low-carbon surface ecoZINQ, ZINQ free and depotmobil from the ZINQ-360 program are also being used.

Realisation

Along with the tight spatial conditions on site, the imposing width of the new conveyor belt at 3.30 metres was challenging. One element in the completion of the custom design was also ZINQ free. This smart solution makes it possible to cover threaded parts before galvanising and thus keep them zinc-free. Another building block for the smooth running of the project phase was ZINQ's depotmobil service. The black components to be galvanised, with carefully covered threads, were transported by depotmobil to ZINQ in Essen, where they were successively immersed in the 450 °C molten zinc. The final adjustments were made in August 2024, and the conveyor belt system was successfully handed over to the satisfied customer.
