Durable aesthetics with the highest level of protection against corrosion – that was the requirement for finishing 64 yacht balconies installed in 2014 at the themed hotel, Hotel Victory Therme Erding. colourZINQ (ZINQ in colour) as a single-source duplex system was the solution, and the interim verdict after more than 7 years of practical testing confirms this as a wise decision: the shade of the coating is still as intense as on day one and corrosion has not been an issue so far.

Realisation

15 tonnes of steel distributed across 128 individual parts for a total of 64 extravagant balconies for a themed hotel – those were the key figures passed on in 2014 by Thomas Hammer, owner of the Hammer steel manufacturing plant in Sinsheim, to ZINQ, or more precisely its Bruchsal site. The interim verdict: in summer 2021, the balconies, which were batch hot-dip galvanised in Bruchsal at the time and subsequently powder-coated, still make you want to experience a fantastic, feel-good stay with a maritime flair at the Hotel Victory Therme in Erding (Bavaria).
