Excellent academic performance: Joel Hahn ranks among the best students at the IHK

With the grade of „very good“, Joel Hahn completed his training as a process mechanic for coating technology at ZINQ. At the award ceremony of the IHK Nord Westfalen, he was awarded for his outstanding achievements.

For 35 young professionals from Bottrop and Gelsenkirchen, this year’s Best Graduates ceremony was a special milestone: they had passed their IHK qualification exam with the highest grade of „very good“. One of them is Joel Hahn.

In total, 1,195 young professionals from Bottrop and Gelsenkirchen took their IHK qualification exam this year – 319 in Bottrop and 876 in Gelsenkirchen. Only 35 graduates achieved the highest score.

From trainee to future professional

From September 2023 to June 2026, Joel completed his training as a process mechanic for coating technology with a focus on flame-spraying at ZINQ and has now successfully completed it. His very good performance was already visible during the training, so he became the only trainee to join our trainee program.

This development program is aimed at future professionals and managers. It helps employees further develop their skills and prepare themselves specifically for more advanced tasks within the company.
