White head, strong idea – how ecoZINQ carries an artistic vision

For the exhibition „Kopfsache“ (June 21 – September 7, 2025) at the Funnix Sculpture Garden in East Frisia, sculptor Cornelia Weihe created a steel sculpture approximately 2.50 meters high – a transparent structure in spiral motion reminiscent of a head. To permanently protect the object from the elements, the circular ecoZINQ surface was used. This not only provided reliable corrosion protection but also enabled the subsequent white coating, which further emphasized the effect of light and transparency.

Implementation

After its artistic creation from February to March 2025, the approximately 95 kilogram sculpture „Caput lux“ was galvanized at ZINQ, painted by Cornelia Weihe, and installed in June – an overall smooth, precise process.

For my sculpture "Caput lux," ecoZINQ was the ideal foundation for permanent outdoor display. The collaboration with ZINQ was uncomplicated and reliable—exactly what I, as an artist, wanted for this project.

Umsetzung

Nach der künstlerischen Entstehung von Februar bis März 2025 wurde die rund 95 Kilogramm schwere Skulptur „Caput lux“ bei ZINQ verzinkt, von Cornelia Weihe lackiert und im Juni installiert – ein insgesamt reibungsloser, präziser Ablauf.
